Restaurant Manager

The Talent Shop is recruiting for a Restaurant Manager on behalf of a confidential hospitality partner launching or supporting a wine-focused, locally sourced dining concept. This role blends hospitality leadership with operational expertise in a restaurant where seasonal ingredients and curated wine programs are central to the guest experience.

This position is ideal for a manager who thrives in elevated, guest-centric environments and values teamwork, community engagement, and delivering memorable dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily front-of-house operations with a focus on wine bar service, seasonal menus, and elevated hospitality
  • Support a collaborative team culture that reflects excellence in guest experience and hospitality standards
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, and performance coaching for FOH teams
  • Assist with training staff in wine knowledge, menu pairing, service standards, and local ingredient storytelling
  • Monitor service flow, resolve guest feedback with professionalism, and ensure consistent quality
  • Drive operational efficiency, including inventory control, cost management, and service readiness
  • Partner with leadership on service initiatives, events, and community engagement efforts

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of management or assistant management experience in restaurants, wine bars, or hospitality environments
  • Strong knowledge or interest in wine service, food-and-wine experiences, and seasonal/local cuisine
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and guest-service skills
  • Ability to coach, lead, and inspire a service team
  • Passion for thoughtful hospitality and delivering elevated guest experiences
