Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and people focused Front of House (FOH) manager to help lead daily operations in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys team leadership, great customer service, and hands-on work while growing their management skills.
Key Responsibilities Customer Experience
- Lead by example to ensure a warm, friendly, and efficient guest experience.
- Resolve customer concerns with professionalism and a service-focused mindset.
- Maintain a clean, welcoming dining and ordering environment.
Team Leadership
- Supervise, coach, and support FOH staff during shifts.
- Assist with onboarding and training team members.
- Promote a positive, team-oriented workplace culture.
Operations & Standards
- Manage daily shift operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Monitor product quality, presentation standards, and speed of service.
- Ensure all food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed.
Cash Handling & Administrative Tasks
- Oversee cash register operations, cash counts, and daily deposits.
- Assist with inventory checks and ordering supplies.
- Complete daily operational reports and communicate updates to management.
Collaboration
- Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow and accurate order fulfillment.
- Support the General Manager with special projects, scheduling, and staffing needs.
Qualifications
- 1+ year of supervisory or shift-lead experience in food service preferred, but strong customer service backgrounds will be considered.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of cash handling and point-of-sale systems.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude.
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, and variable shifts as needed.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a busy kitchen/food service environment.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $55,000–$65,000, based on experience.
