General Manager

The Talent Shop is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead the launch of a brand-new steakhouse concept opening soon in the Tysons Corner/Vienna area.

The ideal candidate will have experience leading a team and managing the daily operation of the business. They will be responsible for maintaining the standard of work from employees as well as onboarding and hiring new team members.

 

What You’ll Bring:

  • 5+ years of leadership experience in upscale or full-service dining (steakhouse or fine-dining experience strongly preferred)
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire large teams in fast-paced, guest-focused environments
  • Strong financial management skills, including P&L oversight, budgeting, and cost control
  • Track record of driving sales and profitability while maintaining operational excellence
  • Commitment to exceptional service standards and a genuine love of hospitality
  • Experience managing both FOH and BOH operations with a focus on quality, consistency, and teamwork
  • Knowledge of food, wine, and beverage programs — especially steak cuts, preparation, and pairings
  • Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
  • Tech-savvy with POS, scheduling, and inventory systems (e.g., Toast, Aloha, OpenTable, etc.)

Preferred:

  • Degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or related field
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
