We're looking for an experienced Kitchen Manager to lead back-of-house operations in a fast-casual, taco-forward kitchen. The ideal candidate will excel in managing high-volume service, cultivating culinary consistency across a menu deeply rooted in Latin-inspired tacos and scratch-made dishes.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily kitchen operations—efficient food prep, plating, and flow of service under pressure.

Uphold high standards for fresh, flavorful, taco-centric fare—including traditional meats (think carne asada, barbacoa, birria, grilled chicken) served in various formats like corn tortillas or bowls, plus inventive handhelds and crispy sides.Â

Manage inventory, ordering, and waste control to support smooth and cost-effective operations.

Enforce rigorous food safety and sanitation protocols consistent across all shifts.

Recruit, train, schedule, and mentor kitchen staff to build a dependable and motivated team.

Collaborate with front-of-house leadership to ensure seamless service and operational alignment.

Provide hands-on leadership: lead from the line, troubleshoot issues in real time, and inspire through example.
Qualifications

Proven experience managing a fast-casual kitchen, preferably with taco or Latin-inspired cuisine.

Bilingual—English and Spanish strongly preferred.

Culinary degree or equivalent professional culinary training strongly preferred.

Excellent leadership, organizational, and clear communication skills.

Solid understanding of food safety standards (e.g., ServSafe certification or equivalent).

Comfortable leading in a dynamic, high-volume environment with diverse menu offerings.
