Our client, a growing food manufacturing operation, is seeking a Quality Control Supervisor to oversee food safety, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and documentation programs within its production facility.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing hands-on quality oversight with the administrative side of food safety and compliance. The successful candidate will help ensure products meet quality standards, maintain audit-ready documentation, and support a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing hands-on quality oversight with the administrative side of food safety and compliance. The successful candidate will help ensure products meet quality standards, maintain audit-ready documentation, and support a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily quality control and food safety activities throughout the production process.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure records are audit-ready.
- Monitor GMPs, sanitation practices, allergen controls, and food safety procedures.
- Conduct inspections of production, storage, cooler, and freezer areas.
- Monitor quality metrics, product specifications, labeling accuracy, and traceability programs.
- Identify and address quality issues through corrective and preventive actions.
- Develop, update, and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and quality documentation.
- Support customer audits, regulatory inspections, and internal audit activities.
- Train and coach employees on food safety, GMPs, and quality expectations.
- Partner with Operations, Production, Maintenance, and Warehouse teams to resolve quality concerns.
- Schedule: Sunday-Thursday | Approximately 7:00 AM-4:00 PM
- Previous Quality Assurance or Quality Control experience in food manufacturing, food processing, meal production, or a related environment.
- Strong knowledge of GMPs, HACCP principles, sanitation, allergen controls, and food safety documentation.
- Experience supporting audits and regulatory compliance efforts.
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- HACCP, PCQI, SQF, or similar certifications are a plus.
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital recordkeeping systems.
